March Update

As spring arrives, the group is reminded of the many reasons we are making this dream into a reality - to not only live in kind community, but to also play in this beautiful landscape we call home.  We welcomed two potential members to a recent Alpenglow potluck.  The party featured 1970s style cheese fondue and Jim Wing's to-die-for chocolate cake!

As we transition from skiing to hiking season, Alpenglow members are planning lots of activities that will help spread the word about our cohousing community.  We will set up information tables at the Ridgway Farmer's Market, our annual community parking lot sale, and the many festivals our town hosts throughout the summer.  COME VISIT US!  Several of us will attend the Colorado Regional Cohousing Conference in Boulder April 20-22 to make connections and grow our community-building skills.

Collaborating with our architects, we continue to refine layout and floor plans of the four different unit models that will comprise the 24-unit community.  Spring is in the air and so much is growing in our community.  Stay tuned and always feel free to reach out if you have questions or interest in living at Alpenglow.
